All our lenses are made of high quality materials. These materials offer high clarity, while also being lightweight and durable. Our non-polarized lenses offer 100% UV protection, but our Performance Polarized lenses take it a few steps further.
Performance Polar is one of the most advanced and durable injected polarized lenses on the market, providing a special laminated filter that selectively eliminates the sun’s harmful wavelengths that reflect off the surface of the water. Performance Polar realigns this light to eliminate glare, enhance contrast, and leaves you with a crystal-clear field of view. With hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings, these lenses are resistant to water, moisture, dirt and oils protecting against the wear and tear of the elements. Available in Lumalens color optimizing lens tints so you can enjoy superior quality and technology in a variety of colors and environments.
Yes, most of our sunwear is compatible for prescription lenses. There are some exceptions however. Our H2O Floatable collection must use a Tri-vex or lightweight lens material to continue to float, and thus we do not advise putting in a prescription lens. Other shield frames like The Remix or Flash, cannot be RX’d. Additionally, 8-base frames are difficult to put a prescription lens into, so we don’t recommend it on styles like Vantage or Rocker.
Ionization is a multi-layer mirrored coating for rich color options and added glare reduction.
Sunglass Lenses
- We do not recommend using any lens or chemical cleaners as they can have an effect on the lens tint or the ionized coating. Damage caused by this is not covered by our warranty program.
- Mild soap and water are fine to clean your lenses. You can also use the provided cloth bag or a similar type fabric that will not scratch the lens. Gently dab or wipe when cleaning the lens. Try to avoid using a scrubbing motion.
Goggle Lenses
- We do not recommend using any lens or chemical cleaners as they can have an effect on the lens tint or the ionized coating. Damage caused by this is not covered by our warranty program.
- Use the provided cloth bag to clean the lens. The bag is made of materials designed to not damage or scratch the lens. If you need to wet the area, dampen the cloth bag with a little bit of water only and gently dab the area. Avoid a scrubbing motion.
- The inner clear part of the lens has an anti-fog treatment. Please take extra precaution when needing to clean this specific area. Gently dab the lens. Do not wipe or scrub the area.
The X2 and X2s are the continued evolution of the APX category. Both goggles are designed around our patented Frameless Lens Technology with a key new feature that makes swapping lenses faster, easier and more secure than ever. The key to this design is our Swiftlock Lens Tech—a pair of integrated levers in the frame that allow for instant lens changing.
